CC Completes Simulation Group Web site
David Compton announced today his company, Compton Communications, has completed the integration of the Simulations Group into the new MPRI Web site. Previously, the Simulations Group Web site had been part of another company that was purchased in by L-3 Communications.
Simulations Group is headquartered in Salt Lake City.
Simulations Group specializes in driver training simulators and simulations for the trucking industry, police and fire departments and the military.
"Working with Jonna Chokas to completely rewrite and reorganize the site was the best part of this project," said Compton. "Rebranding the brochures and collateral was a major effort."
An added feature of the Web site is that the news and events pages are part of the overall MPRI Content Management System. Marketing personnel can simply and easily log into the CMS and upload news releases and make changes to the events calendar.
Compton Communication built the MPRI CMS using an open-source Web application for the news, tradeshow and articles areas of the MPRI site. The same system supports the new Simulation Group portion of the site.
