My name is David N. Compton.  I have spent more than 25 years in journalism, military public affairs and public relations.  I am somewhat of a technology addict or “mad scientist” as one of my previous bosses explained it.  I want to blog particularly about New Media, Social Media and the application of technology to Public Relations and Communications.

This blog is aimed at telling others of my “discoveries” and good ideas for using technology tools to aid in communications.  I hope to use a little humor in the process.  I appreciated your comments and ideas in response.
